The Annual Canadian Group Psychotherapy Association [CGPA] Conference is an exciting gathering hosted each year in a different Canadian city with a focus on the dynamic practice of group therapy and the understanding of group process.

Our main objective for this year’s conference in Ottawa is to provide a welcoming environment to serve as an ideal context for education and personal growth.

CGPA prides itself on its diverse, multi-disciplinary membership. We recognize the contributions of different professional groups and therapeutic modalities and our conference reflects that diversity.

This conference will provide you with many avenues for learning about the creative approaches that leading educators and practitioners in the field are exploring. There will be opportunities to interact with others to expand your horizons and knowledge of group theory and practice. You will enjoy stimulating keynote presentations and smaller interactive workshops on a wide range of relevant topics. Experiential learning and reflection on group process is highlighted in many of the workshops.

Please Note:  Fee for all  Wednesday Training Sessions and Saturday Experiential Process Groups are separate and need to be added  to create  the total. 

 

Conference Gala Dinner and Dance- Friday evening – 6:30 pm   – Midnight

Gala  dinner and dance  attendance is included in the full conference registration fee.

Gala Entrance Fee for One day registrants or guests of conference registrants is – $30.00 each

Guest tickets will be made available for purchase on site at the Hospitality Desk.
All Conference Attendees please indicate your intent to attend the gala dinner on the registration form.

CGPA Member discount on pre conference training session or one day registration – $15.00
