Sections
The regional or local sections of CGPA focus on providing educational, networking and training events tailored to meet the specific interests of the regional membership. The sections carry out the aims of CGPA in promoting interest and education in group psychotherapy.
In order to organize as a section, a region must have at least 10 members of CGPA residing in reasonable geographic proximity to carry out the objectives of CGPA as they apply to local conditions.
Each section has one representative who sits on the National council as a voting member. The CGPA national council remits a proportion of the membership dues of each member adhering to a Section to that Section for support of its local activities.
