The hotel is conveniently located in downtown Halifax at the corner of Spring Garden Road and South Park Street. It overlooks the famous Public Gardens and the historic Halifax Citadel Fort. Accommodation:
A block of rooms has been reserved for the conference in The Lord Nelson Hotel & Suites. Meetings and most events will be held in the hotel. In order to reserve a room at the conference rates, please contact the hotel by Wednesday, August 18th. After this date, any rooms held for conference attendees will be released.
Single or Double room – $169.00 per room, per night plus taxes (currently 2% Marketing Levy & 13% HST). Each additional adult in the same room is an extra $20.00.
Check-in: 3:00 p.m.
Check-out: 1:00 p.m
One queen or two double beds, 32” flat screen TV, complimentary wireless high speed internet, complimentary coffee service, and upscale amenities.
Making a Booking:
Online: Visit the website at www.lordnelsonhotel.com, select “Make a Group reservation” under the Rates and Reservation Section. The Group ID number is 19744 and the password is 37009998.

Parking at the Lord Nelson:
Self parking is available in their underground parking garage for $20.00 including tax per night for registered hotel guests. Valet parking is available at an additional charge.
Airport Transfers:
Taxi & Limousine Services
Taxi and limousine services are available curbside in the arrivals area for all arriving flights. A one-way trip to Halifax city centre is $53.00 (Canadian) by taxi or $56.00 (Canadian) by limousine.
Bus Service
You can take the Airporter shuttle service to and from the Lord Nelson and other hotels in the Metro Area. For a schedule of times go to http://www.airporter.biz/schedule.html.
Regular fare for the Airporter is $21.00 (CDN) one way. Children under 10 years of age accompanied by an adult ride free. For more information, call 902.873.2091.
